Ina,
by “questionable” I meant that there is a certain degree of *not* wanting to part with the advertising facade that is presented through the contracted deals of people who have sat for them (I doubt Celine Dion only wears her own frags, let alone actually wears them in the first place for instance; but that’s just am opinion on my part).
Other than that, like I said, there is some credibility according to material inferred by the people themselves in interviews at times when not tied to advertising projects or by acclaimed biographers who have researched this questioning people who worked for the celebrities in questions etc.
And last but not least, some people have indeed smelled some famous people first hand or perused their cabinets/trailers/bathrooms and reported back.

Indeed it is not an easy task, hence I am rather tentative to include mentions myself when compiling. Fun though!

Helg, considerig the fact Jan Moran is behind the site, it has credibility, even though it might not be all inclusive. I cannot understand how you can find some choices questionable, considering the nature of such research – how can one be truly sure what a celeb wears? I highly doubt anyone can even claim to be an authority on this matter, unless you’re personally acquainted with them and know their choices. Otherwise, it’s all in the media, not first source information.

As someone who has really done some research on this matter, I do have to say that:
1) yes, it’s a very new site with very good presentation (kudos where kudos are due)
2) it does have some gaps in it and some questionable choices
3) it does feature -like most of such lists- choices for celebs that derive from the eponymous campaigns they have participated in (emailing the company,as is the practice I guess, usually results in a list of who has sit for what) rather than what they actually confess themselves -or get smelled of- wearing in real life.

It’s still fun and an informed reader can browse at leisure, I guess.

Totally off topic, but the only way i know how to reach Ina–i called the store and yes, they had Jour De Fete, and it’s on the way! Thanks so much for telling me you ship. Confession: I accepted a speaking engagement in Chicago in July–of course I love the group, but it didn’t hurt the meeting is in the Westin, across the street.

It IS fun. Amelia Earhart word En Avion. Hmmmm, wonder how they know. Celine Deon wears all of her fragrances and nothing else. Another denizen of the planet YahSure. They didn’t have people whose fragrance tastes I really wanted to know: Julia Child, Rachel Carson, Angela Merkel. But hey, they had Audrey Hepburn (everything you would like her to wear).
