I like Oud Wood too, in part because it doesn't smell that much like oud. :-) And I didn't like Tobacco Vanille at first blush, but loved the drydown. Yesterday I wore the amber scent and thought it was excellent, though not quite as good as Ambre Sultan. One thing these scents have going for them is staying power, which is refreshing after the fleeting Chanels. This is a fascinating bunch of scents, isn’t it? As for fascinating discoveries, I don't have any. But today I'm wearing Fracas parfum for the first time and discovering that it is not such a loud tuberose as I had first thought it to be.
