Basenotes “Chicago Scent Me”

Folks from the Basenotes community are organizing the first ever Chicago Scent Me event. It’s due to take place May 26, 2007. Coincidentally, L’Artisan Parfumeur is about to open their first boutique in Chicago (May 1 is the date) which will also play host to the event. For more information, please check out this page.
Full disclosure: as of recently, I work for L’Artisan Parfumeur and will be at the new boutique. Aromascope is my personal perfume blog and will remain independent.

Ooooh, oooh! How cool is THAT?!?!? Congratulations!! My dream job for awhile (in my mind) was working in a bakery, but I’d weigh 350 lbs. Perfume is better.

So exciting! I’m looking for a job right now, and I’d sell my… hmm, husband probably, to get a job like yours. It sounds like L’Artisan is continuing their policy of hiring excellent staff, knowledgable and friendly!

What a great job, congratulations! Personally, I’d rather work in a store that carried several different brands so I could sniff even more new goodies during work hours… But of course working for one niche brand is much more interesting than working in some department store where you could only sniff the latest something or other Summer Edition! L’Artisan Parfumeur is a great brand, I wore Tea for two yesterday for me and my girlfriend’s second anniversary and today I’m revisiting Dzing! and getting all the leather and sawdust and elephant manure my less sophisticated nose missed out the on first time I tried it…
