Bois Blond also reminds me of my childhood in Russia, of running through summer forests with dry field grasses...No wonder that smell is so comforting to me. And yes, I do remember that bottles of Zubrovka (zubr is same as bison, right?) that my dad buys sometimes has those grasses inside! Dinazad, thank you for your comment.
