So off-topic, but it must be said. Why do people butcher the spelling of Indian names? A “D” in Maharajah? The strange “h” at the end of Maharani? To me the horrible spelling is as jarring and some strange foul note that erupts unexpectedly from an otherwise nice fragrance and then befouls the rest of the olfactory experience. Haven’t smelled them, but now I just don’t want to, no matter what the heritage.

Kris, I’ve only smelled Lush Karma once and since then have sworn to never ever come anywhere near it. It is so vile to me. I can’t say I see the resemblance but I take your word for it.

You know what Maharanih reminds me of? Lush Karma, sans all that patchouli. It’s that baby-aspirin orange. I find it really appealing, though not quite full-bottle worthy.
