Perfume Ads That Make Me Swoon

February 21st, 2007

Several months ago, Marina from Perfume-Smellin’ Things and myself did a joint post on Hottest Guys and Hottest Chicks in perfume ads. That was a fun project! Today I take a more serious stance – I’ve selected some of my most favorite perfume ads for your viewing pleasure.

I love all of these! The 2nd Arpege ad is so sweet.

Love thosed ads! For my favs I’d include the Juozas ad and a vintage one for Mitsouko I’m having trouble finding an individual link to. OK, best I can do is a link to Bois de Jasmin where Victoria has it for a review and which is where I first saw it.

I love those ads, especially the Guerlain Chant D’Arome one!

Oh, I love the Jicky! Almost Katherine Hepburn….
I also love the old En Avion and Tabac Blond ads…

Love the ads, especially the Cabaret one. Now that’s an underrated fragrance, don’t you think, Ina?

    Hugs!

I really do love the Jicky ad.

I am old-fashioned – mine will always be the ad for Tabu of the woman at the piano being swept up by the passionate violinist, and the various ads for White Shoulders showing daringly decolletaged women being ravished by handsome men. These were back in the Sixties, mind you. I think I wear perfume even now with the hope that those things will happen to me. They have not yet, but I can always hope.

Marina, aren’t they lovely? So creative, too.

Elle, ooh, I love that one for Mitsouko! Juozas ad is cool, too.

    Minsun, it’s so gentle-looking, isn’t it?

Solander, I’ll have to look those up. I love Caron ads in general.

Robin, it is indeed! Although, I must confess, I didn’t care for it much myself but I’ve been wanting to resniff.

Jennifer, it’s one of my absolute faves.

Flora, I’ll have to look those up again! You made me smile. So romantic! :) I’d take those ads any time over sex and sensuality centered images that are so prevalent in perfume ads these days.
