Giselle, what a cool set! I've been curious to revisit Fragile. 3 perfume books? Which ones?

Got the Gautier Variety Mini set. Fragile smells good on me, and was the reason my goddaughters bought the set--the little snow globe mini struck their fancy. My husband likes Le Male, so I gave him that one. The set also includes G 2 and Classique.
I also got new bottles of old faves from Fragonard and Molinard--The 'Nards... and 3 perfume books. My people know I am a 'Fume freak.

SniffQ, I adore Arabie in concept but not as much in wearibility. Fascinating to read about your layering experiments! I'll have to check out that L'Occitane scent.

Kathy, Alpona is a tricky one. I sort of like it but could never wear it. SSS scents are brilliant!

After trying it on several times, SL's Arabie has developed wonderfully for me. Because I love skin creams, I've been using the Amber lotion from Sage, and discovering the blood orange element makes it work with Arabie. I also discovered, much to my huge surprise, that L'Occitane has a fragrance that has interesting possibilities. It's a man's fragrance, but who cares? It has an interesting tobacco, leather, spice feeling to it. When worn with the Amber lotion, it becomes quite feminine and lovely.
