No lemmings?
December 19th, 2006
I have no perfume lemmings at this time. I’m perfectly content and satisfied. I have enough perfume, and I don’t need any more. I met up with Victoria from Bois de Jasmin yesterday, and we strolled around downtown Chicago and barely sniffed a thing. The end of the year is approaching, and, as a kid, I’d be anxiously waiting for New Year’s presents. This year, I’m not longing for any. Is that normal? The rational part of my brain nods in agreement. Shhh, don’t wake the lemmings but do tell me if you have any of your own.

I too am lemming free. Or as close to it as I ever get. With big life changes on the horizon by summer 2007, I’m not sure I can afford to want more perfume. I do, after all, have a February holiday in Istanbul as my priority.

Hm…my lemming is this Juozas Statcevicius, since I read the review, so I try to get it until the end of the year…lems never die:)

I’ve sniffed golden, warm, mysterious, sensuous Alamut, from Lorenzo Villorosi, and because I have NO idea whatsoever of WHERE to find it, oh, how much I long for it…

I’m thrilled that you are lemming free, my friend…
I wish I could have been in your company with Vika, it would have been SO cozy !
I’m hoping to be lemming free, myself-
Concentrating on how to bring my friends and family closer together, this season.
Love you, as always.

OK, normally I would be placing an emergency call to the Chicago police to insist that they start immediately searching for the real Ina, who was obviously kidnapped and replaced by this lemmingless imposter, however, this year I actually understand how you’ve reached this lemming free place. My lemming list was *much* shorter this year than usual, except for vintage. That quest never ends. Ever. Sob!

My child, you must be ill.
I wish I had no lemmings…*sigh*

Enjoy this brief respite! I am NOT enabling:)

I’m feeling lemming-free at the moment. Maybe because it’s Christmas and I am trying to concentrate on getting presents for others. Maybe because I asked for my latest lemmings from Santa. Maybe because Bank of America will have me in a straight-jacket if they see ScentBar on my statement again…

Well, I’ve never really had lemmings. You see, those are wants, when all of my perfume longings are NEEDS.
Enjoy the lightness of not wanting for a while. And y’all without lemmings are scaring me… a lot. I’m going back to bed, and you should wake me up when this phase is over.

Aliki…Aedes has Alamut.
I have so many that they cancel each other out. At the moment, I guess Parure, Vol de Nuit, and Balmain Jolie Madame are three…and TJ MAXX has Jolie Madame for $9.99. Guess where I am going after work today?!

Okay, whatever you’ve done with Ina, give her back this instant!!!
Actually, I think I may understand what you’re talking about. There is a peculiar contentment in my life right now. I suppose I feel rich in so very many ways … and I have this weird faith that the stuff I want most to try will fall into my lap eventually. So I’m sanguine.
Okay, except for yesterday when I read Angela’s review and sulked because I didn’t have a sample of Rochas Femme. But the feeling passed….

Leo, Istanbul?! How fun!! Worth being lemming-free.
13. Ina | December 19th, 2006 at 10:04 pm
Peppernuts, I wish I could find a way to smell it, too.
14. Ina | December 19th, 2006 at 10:05 pm
Aliki, Aedes de Venustas (www.aedes.com) has Alamut in stock.
15. Ina | December 19th, 2006 at 10:05 pm
Chaya, that’s a good thing you’re doing. Enjoy this peaceful time!
16. Ina | December 19th, 2006 at 10:06 pm
Elle, we all know it’s only temporary but I’m definitely enjoying the feeling.
17. Ina | December 19th, 2006 at 10:06 pm
Marina, last time I checked my temp was normal.
It’s just a phase.
18. Ina | December 19th, 2006 at 10:07 pm
Judith, why not? Maybe I want to be enabled. Hrmph.
19. Ina | December 19th, 2006 at 10:08 pm
Tom, I hope you get what you want from Santa this year! Scent Bar.. if I lived there, I’m afraid my statement would look the same.
20. Ina | December 19th, 2006 at 10:08 pm
Patty, that’s a good way to look at it. Very noble. Huh.
21. Ina | December 19th, 2006 at 10:09 pm
Greeneyes, hope you got your Jolie Madame! It’s so nice. I kinda want Vol de Nuit parfum, too.
22. Ina | December 19th, 2006 at 10:11 pm
March, sanguine – love this word. I *adore* Rochas Femme. Send me an e-mail, March.

It`s not for a long time. Les Exclusifs de Chanel are coming!
Right now I`m Huge Lemming for Encre Noire Lalique, Psychotrop Parfumerie Generale and one big leather scent that will be launched Autumn 2007…
24. Ina | December 26th, 2006 at 11:47 am
Sergey, I’m thoroughly trying to pretend I know nothing of Les Exclusifs.
My current wish is to try the Indult and the Etat Libre d’Orange fragrances.
