Lazy Friday

Busy, busy week here, so a lazy Friday on Aromascope. With minus fifteen weather (Fahrenheit), who wants to wear perfume? I’m all busy making sure my cheeks stay on. Marina at Perfume-Smellin’ Things writes about a cashmere-like scent today, and I can’t help but wonder if there’s ever going to be a down coat scent? I’d buy a lifetime supply of that. After growing up in a northern country, you’d think I’d be used to the cold or at least embrace it. Ain’t happenin’. Off I go to hibernate. If you’re freezing like me, stay warm! Happy weekend, all!

Well, after 53 degrees yesterday, it is only 25 here today. It was sort of snowing last night. …I don’t know of a down coat (puhovik!
) scent, but Oblique Rewind for me is an equivalent of a super-thick wool sweater. Please stay warm!

I don’t know how you cope with those sorts of temperatures. Yuk. I don’t do fahrenheit, but I know -15 is too cold. We’ve only had one brief frost this year – and that’s enough for me.

I won’t tell you what it’s like here, you’ll fly here to slap me. (of course we’d hit scentbar after, soooo)
I remember those winters waiting for the bus on Lake Drive (Milwaukee) wearing every article of clothing I could get on and seriously wondering if I would die before the bus came.
Never mind a down coat scent, there shoud be a self-heating one!
