My Favorites
October 20th, 2006
This seems to be the week of longish posts, and today is no exception. Marina from Perfume-Smellin’ Things and I decided to make a list of our favorite perfumes, by house, in alphabetical order. Another reason I didn’t do a review today is because I’m going to the New York City Sniffa! First time for me, and, needless to say, I’m beyond thrilled. So, stay tuned next week for my impressions (and lots of new lemmings, I’m sure!) But for now, here’s a list of my favorites. Please be sure to check Marina’s as well (she’s practically my scent twin). Please feel free to share yours! Happy weekend!

Fab list! Very close to mine. Would add Patch to the Jalaine list, though. And a few (slight understatement) more vintage scents. But, other than those, it’s seriously almost identical to what I’d have picked.
Is that the outfit you’ll be wearing to Sniffa?

Great list! I hope you have amazing time at the Sniffa. Don’t forget to take an umbrella

Hey Ina–great list! You remind me that I forgot the Divines!! I am a little under the weather, and I have already missed one train, so I better pack and get going! See you soon!

Ok, maybe you do not wear lame hot pants and matching halter tops, but you are glamorous in real life.
I am wearing Songes today. Great list!

Lots of great choices on yours and Marina’s list! You don’t have YSL and my new fav Opium. You must review this and Poison one of these days. And I must try SMN Opoponax!
Along the same lines as Victoria’s post, are you and Marina as hot as that pic?

great list! We all expect a report from sniffapalooza (how I wish I was in NYC this weekend)

Wow - how exciting that you’re finally going to Sniffa!! I am still in awe of your perfume knowledge (further emphasized by your list). Makes me want to go back to Italy just so I can sniff ‘fumes all day……
Have fun in NYC and let’s get together when you get back!!

Well, no one can accuse you of bad taste! Great list, and though I would choose others in many case, such as your Patou list, I would not refuse the ones on your full list. So many perfumes, so little time…

[…] Looking at this list and my favorites today, I can’t help but be amused at how greatly my taste has changed. The biggest difference, however, is the fact that today I determine what to wear, regardless of trends and/or other influences, and that’s quite an accomplishment, wouldn’t you say? […]
