Okay, here is my twisted theory about Chypre Rouge -- have I shared it with you already? If so, sorry. Chypre Rouge is the Serge Lutens for people who have failed to find another Serge Lutens to love. There's some sort of reverse-chemistry thing going on there. It is ... wait for it ... probably my favorite SL. On me it is all about the weird, black, tarry woods yadda yadda. It's strange AND beautiful. But most of the SLs I admire more than enjoy... Actually, I call people Honey all the time, so it IS confusing.
