Montale Powder Flowers

Today I’m wearing Montale Powder Flowers. I don’t know what it is with me and Montale lately but I’m rediscovering the line and finding new loves. Powder Flowers falls into the category of my most wearable perfumes. It has the notes of Damask rose, jasmine, osmanthus, cedar, and tonka beans. It’s a powdery floral but not overwhelmingly so. It starts out slightly sharp, with rose and jasmine prevalent in top notes. It quickly settles down, with osmanthus coming into play and turning it into a hazy, feathery floral. The drydown is very soft and elegant and airy.

I really like this one, so pretty. But I don’t LOVE it enough to justify the price.

I don’t remember if I’ve tried Powder Flowers or not but I love many of the Montale scents.Especially the rose focused ones.Have you sampled the Aromatic Lime yet? If so, what were your thoughts?

If I may ask, where do you buy your Montale. I am trying to figure out the most reasonable way to sample as many as possible.

Cait, I just ordered samples from Aedes of some I haven’t tried. But there’s a new Montale carrier in the U.S. that has the best selection and excellent customer service - check out www.suravionline.com The owner is a Basenotes member. Highly recommend!
