Yves Saint Laurent Rive Gauche

June 2nd, 2006

Rive GaucheToday I’m wearing Rive Gauche eau de toilette by Yves Saint Laurent. This is a new discovery for me, in spite of the fact that I’ve known about the scent for as long as I can remember. The notes are: aldehydes, bergamot, lemon, leafy green, rose, jasmine, gardenia, honeysuckle, vetiver, tonka bean, sandalwood, oakmoss. I’m not going to say much more other than invite you to read a wonderful review written by Victoria on Bois de Jasmin.

:) Speaking of versions, I think that the bottle pictured is actually the old version. You should scout the boutique again and compare. The colours of the bottle are the same, but the placing of the brand name and perfume name on the flacon itself are different.

If you are in doubt, just buy the EDP. It was never produced in the new version, as far I know.

Ah, I see! Thanks! I will have to run over there again some time soon.
